**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to oversee our company's purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, managing vendors, and negotiating contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement. **Responsibilities:** - Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective. - Collaborate with key stakeholders to determine procurement needs. - Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed. - Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms. - Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements. - Oversee the procurement process from start to finish. - Utilize systems for efficient procurement management. - Conduct root cause analysis on any procurement issues. **Skills:** - Proficiency in procurement systems and tools. - Strong ability to procure goods and services efficiently. - Experience in production planning and inventory control. - Knowledge of contract negotiation and management. - Familiarity with category management principles. - Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). - Ability to perform root cause analysis on procurement challenges. - Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
