- Leads Talent Acquisition and recruiting activities while tracking hiring metrics.
- Manages ATS
- Conducts phone screens
- Schedules interviews
- Extends offers and creates offer letters.
- Pre-Boarding and Onboarding Paperwork
- Conducts first day orientation.
- Provides assistance and coaching to supervisors regarding issues of employee conduct or work performance and serves as a resource to employees in these areas.
- Conducts internal investigations under CoreDux Equal Employment Opportunity and Anti-Harassment Policy, and other applicable policies. Presents findings and recommendations in accordance with the appropriate policy. Keeps the HR Team apprised of matters relating to these areas as appropriate.
- For employee complaints that are not direct violations of our policy, supports supervisors and division heads in mediation and resolution of employee concerns.
- Facilitates regular communication and training for the organization’s community in compliance related areas. This includes creation of or updating materials, implementation, tracking attendance, and assessment of efforts.
- Conducts employee exit interviews, collecting exit data and reporting data regularly with strategic recommendations.
- Assists HR Leadership in researching and guiding staff on applicable employment laws . Assists with monitoring the legislative environment for proposed changes to employment laws and with implementing and communicating changes to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assists the HR Leadership for Employment, Compensation & Leaves of Absence in advising and/or directly advises employees and supervisors regarding complex leaves of absence, including those involving FMLA, Short-term disability, etc.
- HRIS Administration .
- In collaboration with the HR team and with assistance from our external vendor, prepares supervisors to challenge Unemployment Compensation claims not required to be paid by a reimbursable employer.
- Drive company’s benefit program:
- Become the subject matter expert on CoreDux’s benefit program.
- Be the point of contact with benefits broker and employee benefit questions.
- Assist employees with benefit enrollment, if needed.
- Lead the annual open enrollment process.
- Collect, maintain and report on benefit data
- Other HR-related duties as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree plus and/or 3 years of HR experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient knowledge of HRIS systems, Paylocity preferred.
- Strong commitment and ability to advance diversity, equity and inclusion related initiatives.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and train at all levels of the organization on matters pertaining to detailed policies, practices, procedures, and regulations.
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented, self-starter, with ability to work under pressure to meet and handle multiple tasks and fluid deadlines when necessary.
- Proficiency in the use of technology for data management, analysis and communications, particularly MS Office Suite.
- Experience in conducting employee investigations.
- Previous direct work experience in other employee relations related tasks.
- Understanding and knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulatory processes related to employment.
- Previous experience working in manufacturing or production environments.
- Previous demonstrated experience creating and implementing policies.
- PHR, SHRM and/or SHRM-CA certification strongly preferred.
- Experience in or related to the development and execution of employment policies consistent with the federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws governing the terms and conditions of employment.
