The Cigar Cellar is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our team and conduct the delivery of a 5-star experience for our guests. Candidates must have high standards and have a passion and dedication for developing people to reach their goals and achieve financial results. Candidates should have 3 years of experience in the position. The General Manager will focus on:
- Maintaining and leading our team to consistently exceed guest expectations
- Manage day to day operations, inventory, and ordering
- Growing our customer base by exceeding service standards consistently
- Responsibly and efficiently managing cost controls
- Incorporating our core values and mission into their daily management structure and execution
- Ensure 100% customer satisfaction & effectively finding resolutions for customers and employees
- Recruiting, interviewing, training, motivating, evaluating and terminating of team members
- Upholding and exemplifying all company, county, and city policies
- Upkeep and attention to care of equipment and arrangements for repairs, contracts and other services
- Effectively scheduling staff to responsibly provide customer service and team support and target labor goal
- Ensure the store is fully staffed with a high caliber team that is able to assist in executing high training standards
- Manage appropriate inventory levels in product and plan for forecasted sales trends
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to maintain top-notch offerings
- Cultivates a culture of providing the highest level of hospitality between the guests and employees
- Conduct performance reviews with team members and consistently holds them accountable through performance management
- Maintains visual standards to support the brand image.
- Demonstrates an energetic, persistent and professional demeanor.
- Acts as an ambassador for the brand within his/her market. Active participant in local networking, marketing, events and activities.
- Analyzes store reporting to identify opportunities and implements plans to increase top-line growth and profitability
Requirements
- 3 years management experience
- Spirit & cigar knowledge
- Comfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks as needed
- Working knowledge of general restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, health codes, and security
- Demonstrated ability to manage operating costs in accordance with budgets
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
- Natural communicator with a strong executive presence. Known to build relationships both inside and outside the organization.
Ability to work a flexible schedule
This position comes with a base salary, profit sharing, and equity opportunity!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
