CoreLife Eatery's Kitchen Manager serves as the Leader of all things food in the Eatery - purchasing, prep, food quality control and cost management. In addition they are considered a key member of the Eatery Leadership Team along with our Head Coach and Assistant Head Coach. Together, this group helps to guide the uplifting, engaging and exciting culture and operations of the Eatery.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
The Kitchen Manager ensures that the kitchen operates smoothly and in a high state of cleanliness and provides strong leadership and supervision to the kitchen staff
He or she helps manage and train the staff to ensure they provide exceptional service to customers in a timely, courteous, efficient, and accurate manner and that they follow proper sanitation standards and keep all areas clean and sanitary at all times
Oversees production of food according to sanitation and quality standards
Establishes and maintains procedures and standards that ensure the health and safety of everyone
Manages and mentors staff, including recruiting/hiring/training of all employees, overseeing HR/payroll, managing issues of discipline/termination, ensuring ongoing training/education, etc
Manages budget and finances
Manages inventory and adheres to set budgets
Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies
Addresses customer concerns and issues
Leading with Crew and Guest experience in mind at all times
We are all people who have been in the food & restaurant business for a lot of years. We’re as passionate as ever. But, as we all watched things move toward convenience and away from the whole foods that our bodies really need, we saw a “real” opportunity. What if there were a place that sought out the best foods available and then prepared those foods right there instead of having a truck deliver pre-prepared foods full of all kinds of who-knows what?
