Requirements
Coretelligent’s sales team is consistently engaged with our dynamic client base. The Business Development Representative identifies business opportunities by focusing on new prospects and qualifying leads for the outside sales team. The representative will have a keen understanding of Coretelligent’s offerings and the ability to effectively communicate our value to the client.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect, build, and manage a sales pipeline for the outside sales team via outbound calling, email communications, social media, etc.
- Qualify sales leads, allocate as appropriate, and drive leads through the sales process by initiating qualified face-to-face appointments with the outside sales team
- Follow-up with respective outside sales team member, post meeting. Determine results of respective meeting, and follow-up appropriately to close the loop.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly phone and email communication goals
- Meet in-person networking event attendance goals
- Consistently log and record each-and-every outreach made, in Salesforce.com, producing regular activity reports as requested
- Clearly and effectively differentiate Coretelligent from the competition
- Be an active and integral member of a dynamic team
- Develop and maintain relationships with diverse personalities within an organization
- Understand client needs and effectively translate into compelling value proposition(s)
- Self-directed continuous improvement of sales and technical knowledge
- Be a new business catalyst with the ability and capacity to ramp quickly
- Uphold Coretelligent’s reputation for the highest level of customer satisfaction in the industry
Requirements:
- Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to develop professional rapport with team members and clientele at all levels (individual contributor through C-level).
- Excel in team environments but can also work autonomously.
- Creative problem solver with successful experience developing action plans and driving issues to resolution.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Dedication and strong time management skills
Skills:
- Proven successful inside sales experience (2 years minimum). Service based technical sales experience is required.
- Strong ability to develop a professional rapport, overcome objections and persuade while maintaining a dynamic and professional demeanor
- Track record of exceeding quota
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated proficient experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong hunter mentality
- Self-starter motivated by the opportunity to advance professionally, and personally
- Able to work with autonomy and as part of a team
- Ability to work in the evenings
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Ability to work in an open-air cubicle environment
- Ability to lift or carry up to 25lbs
- Ability to sit up to 4 hours at a time
- Ability to stand up to 4 hours at a time
- Ability to drive a car up to 4 hours in a day
