This internship would provide hands-on learning opportunities in the areas of corneal tissue processing and/or distribution services. As an intern, you would learn all about:How corneal tissue is prepared and processed to be used in a corneal transplant surgery.The variety of methods performed to analyze and cut corneal tissue to precise measurements.The complex approach to distributing corneal tissue to ensure our customer’s – surgeons and their patients – needs are met.The role CorneaGen plays in the next generation of cornea care, from recovery to successful corneal transplants.We also have opportunities available for interns interested in business operations, including Marketing/Social Media, Human Resources and Accounting/Finance.How long will these internships last?Great question! Our summer internships are scheduled for roughly 10 weeks, but we can be flexible based on a candidate’s school schedule. We may also have opportunities for part-time internships (roughly 10 hours/week) for 10 weeks between March and June.What else should I know about these internships?These internships are meant to provide immersive, hands-on learning experiences; because of this, most or all of the time spent working will be in-person at our downtown Seattle headquarters.Previous experience in the biotechnology or medical device industries is not required.
