- Taking catering orders via telephone and entering them into our system.
- Preparing and packaging food for catering orders.
- Transporting food to catering client locations.
- Set up of catering food when client requests it.
- We do not stay on site to serve food or breakdown, only deliver and set up upon request.
Catering Staff Job Description:
We are looking for qualified catering support staff to assist the Catering Supervisor and dept. in production, packaging and delivering catering meals to meet the needs of the client.
Catering staff working with us must be able to prepare food in a clean kitchen area and comply with all the health and safety regulations while doing so.
Outstanding customer service is a must, so the catering staff we hire must always meet all our customers' needs and expectations, as well as attend to all the potential customer complaints in a professional and friendly manner.
Responsibilities of Catering Staff:
- Preparing food in a clean kitchen environment
- Consulting with customers about any order questions
- Transporting food via our company provided vehicles
- Knowing all the food ingredients
- Providing excellent customer service
Catering Staff Job Requirements:
- Excellent cooking and food preparation skills
- Catering experience is a plus
- Great attention to detail
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- A friendly and positive attitude
- Must have early morning availability with a 6am start time being very typical as we are a high-volume breakfast caterer
- Must have a valid driver's license as you will be driving our company provided catering delivery vehicles
