What are the responsibilities and job description for the Opening Cashier position at Corner Mart?
Cashiers are responsible for ringing up customers, accepting payment and giving change back, as well as general customer service. There are general housekeeping tasks that the cashiers are also responsible for completing, such as sweeping, mopping, filling ice bins and bags, cleaning restrooms, etc. Cashiers are responsible for ensuring all housekeeping tasks are completed during their shifts before leaving. Opening shift cashiers (3:30am clock-in time) will be responsible for preparing the store to open for the day, such as brewing coffee, putting out donuts, turning on lights, etc.
Shift needed is from 3:30am to 10am, Monday through Friday. This can be flexible, please discuss this if interviewed.
