Overview:
Our Cashier Team is responsible for collecting and processing parking fees, and providing information to hospital patients and visitors. This is a high profile, customer service position that requires a helpful disposition and professionalism.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 2PM - 7PM.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all customers with a helpful disposition, professionalism, and tact.
- Collect and process parking fee transactions - which includes ticket collection, cash collection, cash counting, ticket counting, credit card processing and making change as needed.
- Provide parking information and directions to customers.
- Assist with contract parking card issues, if applicable.
- Sell monthly/weekly passes, if applicable.
- Keep work area clean, sanitized and organized.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- 1 yr. customer service experience, preferred.
- Cashier/cash handling experience, preferred.
- Able to read, write, comprehend, and converse in the English language fluently.
- High standards of Integrity: reliable, responsible, and dependable.
- Physical demands:
- Able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Repeatedly collect tickets, cash and credit cards from customers.
- Return change, receipt and/or credit card as needed.
- Slide tickets and credit cards in machine.
- Enter information on computer keyboard.
- Processing transactions accounts for approximately 40%-75% of shift, depending on parking volume, day of the week and time of day.
