Seeking an Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk processes a high volume of data pertaining to receiving, storing, and shipping of grain for all company locations. Maintaining and manage customer orders, correspondence and contracts.

Duties of the Accounting Clerk

  • Maintain current and up to date daily invoicing, applying incoming cash and processing
  • Accounts Payable; Process freight settlements accurately and in a timely manner
  • Resolve discrepancies on accounting records between customers and the company
  • Collaborate with accounting, and customers to accurately maintain customer accounts
  • Provide timely turnaround of payments and invoices to many customers
  • Reconcile shipments, receipts, payments, and contract balances

Requirements of the Accounting Clerk

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field and/or
  • 2 years of relevant work experience in a fast paced, office setting environment
  • MS Office
  • Organization skills
  • Math Aptitude
