Scheduling Coordinator

Correct Care is an established ED Physician Staffing and Management Company located in Knoxville, TN. Seeking a career minded Physician Scheduling Coordinator to meet the needs of our growing company.

Physician Scheduling Coordinators will obtain physician availability each month and prepare the hospital ED schedules, so that a qualified physician is covering our emergency departments every hour of the day. Physician Scheduling Coordinators must have the ability to juggle many tasks at one time, be comfortable at negotiating money and have the ability to sell. Provides 24 hour scheduling support on a rotation on call basis. This is not a remote position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare multiple hospital ED schedules 2 months in advance.

Create composites for physicians

Assist credentialing and recruiting

Negotiate special pay in order to fill open dates

Educate physicians on scheduling process and protocols

Documentation into ACT Database

Participate in after-hours call

Effective communication with physicians

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or similar field, or medical office experience/sales experience customer service experience

12 months scheduling experience for Emergency Department Physicians preferred
