What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Associate position at Corridor?

Corridor is currently seeking a Business Development Associate. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for identifying and contacting Corridor target customers for Corridor’s various service lines. Responsible for identifying opportunities and presenting this offering and either individually or in coordination with Field Sales Reps. The role will also provide support for Field Sales Reps around product demos, technical questions, pricing requests, marketing material, etc. The Business Development Associate will be expected to achieve targets and goals set by sales leadership.

Job Location: Remote. Anywhere in the United States

  • Develop new business/leads by proactively contacting potential clients via telephone, Internet, eCommunications and in-person to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Set appointments and/or demos that fit within the guidelines of a qualified lead via web conference or in-person, depending on proximity of prospective clients.
  • Respond to requests for information and answer questions regarding Corridor’s specific product and service offerings.
  • Develop and deliver Corridor Solutions demos/sales presentations in a professional and effective manner by:
    • Applying established demo process and using effective sales techniques
    • Keeping current on company activities, service line updates, industry trends & learning management system (LMS) functionality.
  • Utilize approved company processes for lead generation efforts including timely tracking and reporting of status within the CRM.
  • Meet or exceed established call/demo quotas and division sales goals.
  • Communication skills must be fluent in English.
  • Communicate to management the status of leads and outcome of sales process.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and Field Sales Reps on lead generation and new business development strategies.
  • Maintain proficiency with new developments within Corridor and its competitors.
  • Participate in activities as needed to support the functions of the team.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work as assigned.
  • Ability to participate in sales related travel as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience:
  • Candidates will have a degree in a healthcare, technical or business discipline.
  • Work experience including a min. of 2 years in sales and/or customer service, public speaking and/or training.
  • Experience working within a CRM, preferably Salesforce.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including telephone-based, consultative selling skills and well-developed presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills must include prioritizing, planning, follow through, multitasking and time management.
  • Ability to sense and relate observations to sales opportunities.
  • Ability to influence and persuade all levels of decision makers to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
Computer Skills: Information technology expertise to include Internet, MS Office tools; computer systems, communication tools and software such as Windows, FTP, HTTPS, SMTP, Internet Security, and delimited file formats.

Salary : $49,300 - $62,500
