Overview
CORT is seeking an Office Manager/ Events Coordinator at our corporate headquarter office in Chantilly, VA. This position is responsible for the administrative support functions involving management of the corporate office. In addition, this position will be responsible for supporting tradeshow related coordination.
This position is required to be onsite, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm.
The pay rate for this position is $25/hour.

Responsibilities
Office Administration:
- Responsible for reviewing, ordering and restocking office supplies
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Work with landlord to arrange for maintenance and cleaning as needed.
- Manage mail room, including distributing incoming mail, ensuring outgoing mail secured, and responsible for shipping requested items via UPS, USPS, or FedEx
- Responsible for monitoring the front desk, meeting and greeting visitors, answering phones, accepting packages
- Support meeting management requirements of the Corporate leadership team, to include, conference room coordination, hotel blocks, catering, etc
- Maintain the office copier needs of the office, including fulfillment of supplies and restocking as necessary
- May support the executive leadership team on request and as needed
Tradeshow Coordination:
- Manage a national tradeshow schedule that includes all tradeshows funded by a Corporate department
- Secure and pay for booth spaces and sponsorships / Register booth personnel
- Book hotel room blocks and manage all reservations
- Work with the Marketing team to produce new booth backdrops and collateral needs
- Give direction to exhibit house on booth design and review and sign the SOW
- Review the general contractor kit and order the booth services needed prior to the discount deadline to ensure optimal savings
- Manage tradeshow assets stored at the Corporate office to include pop-up banners, giveaways, marketing collateral, and general supplies needed on-site at shows
- Pack items stored at Corporate office that need to be shipped to the show site or the general contactor’s advance warehouse
- Schedule round trip shipping with our tradeshow carrier
- Plan booth furniture needs with CFR or TSE DGMs
- Request specific COIs from insurance brokers as requested by tradeshow organizers
- Be available for calls from CORT reps on-site at shows and troubleshoot any issues that arise (ex: locating shipments on the show floor, general contractor hasn’t provided the pre-ordered services)
- Manage logistics on-site at Higher Ed tradeshows where CORT is a major exhibitor
- Plan affiliated tradeshow events
- Coordinate the lending of tradeshow assets stored at the Corporate office
- Post-show review and follow up
Qualifications
- 2 years supporting fast-paced office environment preferred
- Familiarity and experience using Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word and Excel
- Experience supporting a marketing or events planning function highly desirable
- High school diploma required
