Corteva is seeking a Community Investment Program Manager who is passionate about Enriching Lives Together to join its Global Responsibility team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and managing the centralized budget and global tax-exempt giving process for our Global Community Investment program and foundation in line with our corporate purpose and global community investment program policies. You will lead cross-functionally to ensure our program operates in line with our global program strategy. You will collaborate across many internal and external stakeholders, including finance, community teams, external vendors, and community partners. For this role, Corteva seeks an individual with demonstrated experience driving similar efforts through in a corporate giving, foundation, or large non-profit setting.
It is strongly preferred that the candidate be based near Wilmington, Delaware. Corteva offers flexible work options. Some travel to support activities is expected.

In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain a centralized giving process for global tax-exempt donations for Corteva’s Global Community Investment program
- Communicate grant funding intent and timeline for calendar year and align support for organization events and activities.
- Manage relationships with Delaware non-profit organizations
- Serve as system administrator for national grant and employee volunteer platforms
- Liaise with third-party vendor and consultant to update online application data fields and support grantee needs
- Manage national tax-exempt payments through accounts payable systems third-party vendors
- Review community investment grant applications submitted through for program alignment
- Prepare annual community investment tax report for company and foundation
- Facilitate service agreements between external vendors and Global Community Investment
Qualifications
What expertise you have grown, and what you bring to the table.
Minimum of bachelor’s degree with 10 years of community investment experience, including:
- Strong budget planning and finance acumen in a corporate giving, foundation, or non-profit setting
- Project management experience or ability to drive multiple key project deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, initiate, plan and execute project and program ideas in relation to a global granting and volunteer process
- Ability to identify and manage potential risks and liabilities of projects and processes
- Knowledge of the granting process, including but not limited to tax regulations
- Knowledgeable of the internal accounting and expense processes specific to vendor identification, accounting codes and payment levels
- Strong data entry skills necessary for mass production of payment requests
- Strong critical thinking and risk management skills with ability to lead cross functional projects and teams
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to liaison between upper management and team members, and motivate different global teams stay on plan
- Ability to adjust schedules and targets in projects and granting process when needed while continuing to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Windows 10 using Office 365 software, Blackbaud Grantmaking Online and CSR Connect platforms, and corporate accounts payable and processing systems
- Attention to detail is a must and a motivated self-starter is required to cross manage team responsibilities
