As an Account Manager, incumbents will support CorTrust's mission and business objectives by providing new, prospective, and existing customers with an exceptional insurance experience.  They will work with customers to provide risk-based solutions to customer’s insurance needs in a responsive, effective, and appropriate manner.   They will support insurance and/or branch management as business and customer needs dictate. This position can be an introductory position to the insurance world and would also be fulfilling for someone experienced. 

Daily duties for this position: 

• Provide exceptional customer service while responding to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal and external business partners to ensure all insurance needs are met.  
• Assist in the resolution of questions or issues that may arise.
• Accurately and efficiently process system data and manage document retention.
• Provide quotes, issue policies, and process daily transactions.
• Adhere to all Company and Insurer policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate dependability and flexibility, responding to support requests promptly.
• Respond positively and efficiently to other duties, responsibilities and activities as may be assigned.
• Maintain working knowledge of insurance lines and specialty lines.
• Perform all duties with general understanding of regulatory, transaction, reputation, and cybersecurity risks to the business.

• Hold or be willing to obtain valid South Dakota insurance licenses issued by the South Dakota Division of Insurance.
• Insurance experience preferred but not required based on other business experience.
