We are looking for a new ideal team player as a Material Control Supervisor in our Plant Operations department! The Material Control Supervisor is responsible for analyzing and coordinating the inventory, receiving, and material handling teams. Assists in the life cycle of a product including the receiving, pulling, and storage of components/products, ensuring accurate inventory management

- Responsible for leading, supervising, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the receiving, inventory, and material handling departments.
- Oversees inventory operations to maintain accurate records, implement control procedures, monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and coordinate with procurement supply chain teams to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Coordinate with other internal company departments to fulfill daily warehouse needs including inventory, layout/planning of storage locations, product and component drops, and any other warehousing functions as needed.
- Lead communications and team meetings weekly, including team building, collaboration on warehouse metrics, weekly plans, concerns, and updates.
- Provide regular feedback/communication and conduct 1:1 meetings on a specific cadence to support strong relationships with team members.
- Maximizing labor productivity, duties, and performance amongst direct reports while supporting onboarding, training, retraining, coaching, and development of each team member to aid in overall enhancements to team knowledge and efficiencies.
- Oversee all inbound container processes.
- Ensuring the receiving floor, storage racks, etc. are audit-ready at all times by ensuring the warehouse department and its processes comply with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to openly identify and communicate potential waste reduction in all processes.
- Carry out daily workflow including but not limited to emails, Teams, scanning, paperwork, orders, standard work/processes, and proper documentation related to the warehouse department.
- Carry out team management tasks such as PTO forms, attendance logs, timecard approvals, setup and driving of team building events, etc.
- Monitor data including SQDC tracking, KPI, and reports while improving processes to improve targeted metrics.
- Monitor the warehouse start-up and shut-down procedures.
- Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements
You will hold a high school or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 5 years of warehouse experience. Managerial / Supervisor experience preferred. Problem solving & analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word user.?Maintain a positive, cooperative, and respectful attitude.?Experience with Continuous Improvement techniques. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Exceptional interpersonal and team player skills. Able to work under pressure in a very dynamic environment.
