Job Description
Reporting to our Director of Marketing, the SEO Manager (aka Senior Marketing Analyst – SEO) is entrusted to lead the strategy, testing, and optimization of SEO to increase organic website traffic, boost lead generation, and drive ROI. This position requires an in-depth understanding of SEO best practices and a proven track record of exceptional traffic and visibility growth through local and national SEO strategies. This key contributor will devise and implement continual testing and analysis to increase lead volume, improve conversion rate, and grow incremental new customers while providing the best customer experience.
The SEO Manager will be a leading member of an exciting, fast paced, and growing team that is making an immediate impact across the entire customer lifecycle. This is a great opportunity for a talented person to broaden his/her skill set by taking responsibility and driving strategy for a multimillion-dollar budget, managing vendors, presenting performance reporting to senior management, and challenging him/herself with projects that can span from tactical to strategic in nature. Our preferred candidate will be passionate about SEO and marketing, a team-player, detail-oriented, an effective communicator, and be able to multi-task. This position is based at our Corporate Office (HQ) in Irving (Las Colinas), Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and execute SEO strategy to drive increased traffic and conversions
- Monitor and analyze channel performance, and implement optimizations and a/b/n testing when opportunities arise
- Optimize local SEO efforts for 280 brick and mortar store locations
- Develop and execute link building strategy (internal and external)
- Oversee and collaborate with outside vendors and agencies to achieve superior results
- Work with internal and 3rd party technology providers to accomplish SEO goals and improved website performance
- Develop, implement and manage blog strategy
- Manage/contribute to the content and creative needed for campaigns as necessary
- Stay on the forefront of SEO news, trends, and algorithm changes – especially as they relate to the consumer financial services space – driving strategy and advising on best practices
- Proactively seek innovative, new media solutions to test, presenting business cases for those opportunities to senior management
- Own and manage other direct response marketing campaigns from ideation to execution
- Provide input on and direct strategy for multiple media channels, creating cohesive campaigns across various outlets and focusing on customer acquisition and retention
- Work with teammates to ensure optimal performance and growth of each media
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or similar field
- 5 years of work experience in online marketing and/or SEO management, with proven success using SEO strategies
- Results-oriented self-starter who is confident in defending his/her critical thinking abilities
- Thrives on creating new campaigns and projects, turning an idea into reality
- Proven writing ability for content creation from a business to consumer viewpoint
- Entrepreneurial mindset supported by a strong business acumen and work ethic
- Outstanding organizational skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced user of Google Analytics, Excel, PowerPoint, and multiple SEO tools (Google My Business, Google Search Console, SEM Rush, Screaming Frog, etc.)
- Experience managing vendors or agency experience
- Local (Dallas/Fort Worth area) candidates only – no relocation
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and not require sponsorship in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with website content management system
- Experience with a CRM
- Design experience a plus

- Starting annual salary of $78,500
