COVERGIRL is looking for a dynamic, creative, and experienced Consumer Engagement Assistant Manager to join our team. This person will help develop COVERGIRL’s strategic storytelling through 360 campaign development, communicating our brand message, sense of community and unmatched easy, breezy, beautiful culture through an engaging social-first lens—while fostering a strong and passionate digital community of brand advocates. Core responsibilities include Global Brand strategy collabortion, social strategy and campaign planning, day-to-day content management, creative concepting and execution, identifying social trends, and performance reporting.

This role is highly collaborative and will report directly to the Director of Global Consumer Engagement. Our ideal candidate is beauty, pop culture, and community obsessed. THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:
Consumer Engagement is an ever-changing field, so although you will have some routine responsibilities, adaptability is key in this role. Although no two-days will be the same, the below outlines the core responsibilities:
Plan and build social media strategies for brand campaigns, product launches, and partnerships
Drive brand awareness and relevance via Influencer/KOL amplification, third-party partnerships
Develop and execute innovative social-first campaigns
Create organic content for Brand TikTok Channel
Collaborate with Director of Global Consumer Engagement on brainstorms for content and campaigns
Own and update content calendars
Support execution of off-site photoshoots
Source relevant user-generated content
Write and edit social media copy for posts and creative
Coordinate giveaways and other promotions with internal and external contributors
Compile reports and recaps sharing valuable insights and learnings from data and community
Leverage Consumer/Shopper insights to ideate innovative consumer engagement initiatives to help COVERGIRL standout in the cosmetics and skincare space
Perform administrative work such as website updates and social listening
Collaborate on Creative Briefs for all Global Brand initiatives (including but not limited to Social Campaigns, Partnerships, Influencers, KOLs, Product Launches, Experiential/ Digital Events)
Skills & Knowledge
In-depth knowledge of social media channels and how each can be leveraged for various campaigns and goals effectively
Finger on the pulse of culture and trends
Ability to write and edit communications and articulate the brand 'voice' in a creative, compelling, and easy, breezy manner
Ability to shoot and edit content for TikTok and other social platforms in Brand tone of voice
Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side
Ability to adapt and adjust planned work by analyzing work demands, competing priorities, and tight deadlines; and to understand the most effective and efficient means to accomplish tasks within the parameters of the organizational structure, processes, systems, and policies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and a knack for problem solving
support teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

We’d love to see candidates who have:Essential:
Bachelor’s degree
3-5 years of relevant experience in social media or digital marketing
Experience with social media content creation and campaign planning
Experience creating content and managing a brand TikTok channel
Experience working with talent and influencers

Required Skills & Knowledge:
