POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for someone to work on US Kylie Visual Merchandising programs with a focus on in-store executions from design to in-store implementation. This role also requires the VM Manager to build partnerships with sales managers, creative agencies, manufacturers, suppliers, printers and follow up processes necessary to effectively complete directives with extreme high standards, which includes: exciting windows, sites, light boxes updates, new launch updates on counters and events in stores.
The VM Manager will support the VM Director, across all activities planned on the distribution calendar. They will support in successfully translating and implementing the placement of all US visual standards, planograms, artwork, and guidelines set forth under the directive of the Kylie Global Retail Experience. The VM Manager will take ownership of all VM projects, design, and logistics for both Permanent and Temporary VM Projects.
Role based in our New York office, but will require travel to visit suppliers, check artwork, productions and mock-up of units, visuals, grids and other props developed for the final installations. This will include supporting all VM collateral, including creating and tracking POs, receiving invoices, and reviewing costs. Manage all aspects of the installs, check quality of prints, execution and make sure all VM is implemented as per Kylie standards and in agreement with retailers, and suppliers, to ensure they are executed effectively across all US distribution channels.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports VM Director on the implementation of the Kylie strategy across US.
Adapts Global guidelines for the launch and execution of Kylie Makeup and Fragrance in US retailers and collaborating with Global teams on designs for the US.
Works with other US and Global departments to understand and develop the adaptation of Kylie guidelines, providing active feedback to the Global teams for the existing guidelines, and actively following up with sales and marketing US teams for the efficacy of implementations.
Ensures that new launches and in store execution deliverables are delivered on time & in full, within budget and to brand standard across region
Owns the product launch update process for all Permanent locations
Listens to and develops a deep understanding of US consumers and generate new insights.
Attends regular meetings with wider teams to ensure a collaborative working relationship with cross function teams.
Leverages strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple projects at one time and deliver all projects are delivered on time with production and delivered to store for launch.
Develops and nurtures relationships with all key stakeholders- Internal departments/ Regional managers/ Key retailers/ Key suppliers/ Global team.
Updates internal presentations
Manages and tracks Purchase orders and invoices, control expenditure of any orders placed for each individual project.
