We currently have an open full- time position in the Patient Accounting Dept. This position is responsible for performing the functions of billing and follow-up for patient encounters, to ensure accurate and timely submissions for all third party payers. Must be dependable and able to work independently, as well as be a contributing team member, possess excellent customer service skills, and be willing to learn new concepts. Preferred background includes prior hospital or clinic billing experience and use of billing platforms such as Cerner and SSI. Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding is desired.

Salary Range
The wage scale for this position has been finalized for the facility including 26 steps and the selected candidate will be placed on the wage scale depending on years of experience.
