We provide a range of educational services, which include providing guidance on curriculum design, development, and implementation; teaching instruction and strategies, coaching, and consulting with a focus and expertise on mathematical skills and concepts from pre-k to Calculus for our clients. Our goal is to foster a love of math one problem at a time by deepening conceptual knowledge and understanding. We strive to develop and connect the conceptual dots while creating concrete connections with our clients. We serve our clients with fidelity and cherish each of them, whether they are individuals, families, non-profit organizations, school districts, or centers of higher education.

We are hiring a motivated two math instructors to work either in-person or online with students with various mathematical levels ranging from pre-k through Geometry. Math session will be in-person. In-person sessions will be located in Columbia. You must have proof of COVID vaccationation for this position.

We are hiring for two different positions

Maryland Certified Special Educator and Certified Educator

The math instructor will be responsible for providing individualized and student-focused course curriculum and materials for the students. The Scope and Sequence for each student will be predetermined. Deliver lectures on math concepts individualized to the needs of the students. Provide feedback positively to students outlining both their strengths and areas for improvement. Keep students motivated and engaged while they are learning in-person or remotely. Provide guidance to students to help them improve their academic performance. If needed, provide homework assignments to students. Address student and parent queries in a timely manner. Maintain record of student sessions including their progress and attendance reports.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
In-person math sessions require a face mask, frequent hand washing and temperature checks.
