Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of delivery vehicles, including propane bobtails.
- Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle using onboard equipment.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring accurate and on-time deliveries.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safe operation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documents.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating propane delivery trucks is a plus.
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including industry specif equipment.
- Proficient in navigating using GPS or other routing systems.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and moving of goods as required.
