What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility CSR position at COUNTY NATIONAL BANK?
JOB SUMMARY
The Utility Client Service Representative (CSR) provides support at any of the CNB branch offices (as scheduled) with outstanding client service while performing a variety of client savings, checking and credit account transactions, as well as opening news accounts, etc. Also may assist with various branch procedures, including ATM balancing, Vault balancing, etc.
DUTIES
- Provides outstanding service to clients while meeting their needs for cashing checks, making deposits, withdrawals or loan payments, redeeming US Savings bonds, processing cashier’s checks and money orders.
- Assists in opening and closing savings, checking and certificates of deposit.
- Determines the need to place holds on checks being deposited and/or cashed, when applicable.
- Cross-sells other bank services.
- Balances teller window on a daily basis and remains within teller balancing guidelines.
- Processes night deposits.
- Assists with handling collection items.
- Assists with wrapping or unwrapping coin.
- Assists in balancing of ATM, when applicable.
- Maintains and protects confidentiality of customer information.
- Maintains regular, on-time attendance.
- Remains current in assigned training and continuing education for designation retention (online, video, in-house emails, telephone seminars, etc.)
- Complies with all regulatory requirements including Bank Secrecy Act and all others specific to their position.
- Performs other various duties as assigned.
CONTACT WITH OTHERS – INTERNAL
- Communicates on a regular basis with supervisor, other tellers, branch managers, client service and new accounts staff.
- Communicates frequently other bank staff members.
CONTACT WITH OTHERS – EXTERNAL
- Communicates on a regular basis with clients.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous banking/teller/new accounts experience a plus.
- Passion for providing a stellar customer service experience to all customers (external and internal) and ability to instill this passion in others.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (tactfulness, cooperation, courteousness and customer friendliness) are necessary to represent the bank in a positive manner.
- Positive and cooperative approach when working with others.
- Excellent written communication skills with demonstrated ability to write communications clearly, concisely and effectively, with attention to detail for visually appealing output and accurately proofreading publications.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to effectively present information to customers and management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to efficiently and accurately keyboard information, both computer and calculator.
- Strong computer skills with a proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Salary : $28,500 - $36,100
