Training Coordinator
Per diem, approximately 20 hours weekly, on-site
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate a centralized training corp for MHFA instructors and develop a library of trainings available through the County of Bergen, by community entities and/or collaborative efforts.
- Respond to requests for trainings and directly provide or coordinate through the training corp or other community provider with appropriate expertise.
- Handle training logistics, including sign-ups, reminders.
- Attend community events to raise awareness.
- Outreach to specific communities (e.g.: older adults, faith based, emergency responders, specific cultural groups, etc.) to promote mental health awareness through training opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a trainer.
- Dynamic presentation skills, with experience presenting on wellness related subjects preferred.
- Mental Health First Aid Instructor experience preferred, or must be able to successfully pass instructor course.
- Bachelors degree in public health related field or teaching preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
