Our hotel is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Housekeeping Houseperson.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for acting as a support role to housekeepers, supervisors, and maintenance.
- Light maintenance duties.
- Responsible for cleaning hallways, removing trash, and linen from hallways.
- Stocking with supplies in the trained method including but not limited to; cleaning public bathrooms, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up and picking up trash.
- Must keep all public areas clean and tidy for guests.
- Keep outside areas clean and tidy.
- Adhere to all department procedures and policies, including lost and found.
- Maintain a welcoming and courteous demeanor in all interactions with guests and staff.
- Report damage, mechanical problems, suspicious activities, or theft.
- Comply with attendance and all other policies outlined in the employee handbook.
- Delivery to guest rooms will be efficient, professional, and with the highest of standards.
- Maintain meeting room cleanliness.
- Keep all storage rooms neat, organized, and stocked.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisor
- Required to conduct and follow CDC Guidelines and brand cleaning standards due to COVID-19. These high touch/high traffic public area cleaning standards include, however are not limited to the following:
- Interior and exterior doors, handles, door frames in common areas including restrooms, storage rooms, fitness center, pool, and Market.
- All public restrooms.
- Front Desk counter tops, credit card machines and other surface areas.
- Elevator cabs, inside and out, including buttons on landing areas.
- Business Center computer, keyboard, mouse, printer, desks, and counter tops.
- Fitness Room equipment, towel hamper, and any additional surface areas.
- Pool and Patio Area chairs and tables, towel hamper, and any additional surface areas.
Position Experience and Requirements:
- Current and valid driver’s license
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 40 pounds.
- An employee may regularly be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, in addition to extended lengths of walking, standing, and use of arms.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
- Must come to work in a clean and neat uniform every day with a name tag.
- High school or equivalent

- This hotel operates seven (7) days a week and twenty- four (24) hours per day. All employees both management and hourly must realize this fact and be willing to hold a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
