Position Highlights:
- Earn a competitive $18.27/hr, with weekly paychecks
- Enjoy an extra $3.00 per hour for shifts worked between 7:00 am on Saturday through 6:59 am on Monday
- Become eligible for comprehensive benefits after just 30 days of full-time employment.
Your Essential Role:
Imagine each day filled with purpose and impact. As a caregiver, your essential role involves:
- Preparing and serving meals, adhering to designated diets and restrictions.
- Administering medications.
- Conducting fire drills (awake/asleep).
- Maintaining home cleanliness.
- Assisting residents with residential responsibilities and support.
- Implementing support/behavior plans for individuals.
- Attending mandatory trainings and maintain certifications.
- Participating in meetings and supervisions.
- Communicating effectively with staff and outside providers about individual progress.
- Providing therapeutic crisis intervention when necessary.
- Completing daily Therapy documentation.
- Transporting clients as needed.
- Supporting community activities (e.g., shopping, banking).
- Fulfilling other supervisor-assigned tasks.
- Emergency tasks may be assigned occasionally.
Qualifications we're looking for:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to safely and compassionately handle individuals in crisis
- Willingness to attain MAP certification for medication administration
