Job Summary
As an Associate Product Manager at CoverMyMeds, you’ll solve tough problems in the healthcare industry to help patients receive the medications they need to live healthy lives. You’ll focus on maximizing the adoption, utilization, performance and value of our existing products and launch innovative solutions that don’t yet exist. You’ll partner closely with people across CoverMyMeds and in our industry to manage and grow products. You’ll participate in continuously elevating the product practice at CoverMyMeds and have endless opportunities to take on responsibility, continue learning and mentor others.
The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle and P&L for certain biopharma manufacturer sponsored products. The lifecycle includes ideation, business requirements, concept testing, pricing, development, developing value propositions and customer presentations, go-to-market strategies, sales and channel education and marketing plans. The Associate Product Manager will collaborate with personnel throughout the business, including contributors from business development, project management, marketing, sales, finance, and customer experience. The Associate Product Manager will evaluate the appropriateness of enhancements to core solutions or development of new product lines.
Additionally, this position will be responsible for retention of market share, ensuring our solutions meet customer needs. Develops business plans and product positioning in the marketplace. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity regarding core solutions function and value, pricing, image, and other competitive measurements. Interacts with sales, account executives, business partners, and customers to understand customer needs and how CoverMyMeds can best satisfy those needs. Establishes pricing strategies and acts as subject matter expert in support of Sales. Develops plans for coordination with development, sales, marketing, support, and other internal teams for successful implementation of new offerings or to enhance existing products. The Lead Product Manager is responsible for the success of the products.

Key Responsibilities
- Manages product P&L
- Bring solutions to market that enable CoverMyMeds to retain leading market share.
- Works with business development and other product managers on new product concepts.
- Manages product concept validation, launch planning and provides post launch product support.
- Works with implementation manager on implementation activities, issues resolution, etc.
- Provides pre-sale support by way of presentations, value propositions, competitive analysis and positioning, for CoverMyMeds Sales Team.
- Works with product marketing to create product presentations, marketing programs and other product related communications.
- Works with Product Owners to create functional requirements and to assist with requirements management throughout the project life cycle.
- Assists with vendor / partner relationships.
- Ability to understand both the 'big picture’ and the 'details’ when needed.
Critical Skills
- Knowledge and experience in Biopharma manufacturer market is highly preferred.
- Product Management experience or equivalent in the Healthcare industry and agile software development organizations
- Healthcare experience is required including experience with payer and pharmacy workflow, systems, and processes.
- Experience interacting at the C-Suite or executive level, with specific positive outcomes that you may be able to describe
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Strong product management expertise including product vison and goals, product roadmap and the complete product lifecycle understanding.
- Experience with product commercialization strategies
- Strong Program Management skills to oversee product engineering and execution.
- Understanding of various industry constituents in Specialty Healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with Market Access and Adherence offerings in the industry.
- Demonstrated ability to develop solution value propositions; design presentations that clearly articulate the solution value proposition and/or ROI.
- Ability to influence internal customers, external customers and business leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to making decision in times of ambiguity, complexity and imperfect information.
- Excellent verbal and written communications; excellent presentation skills to large groups.
