Account Manager

**Position Summary:**

CoWorx is hiring for an Account Manager for one of our top manufacturing clients in Manchester, CT. This is a perm role with benefits.

This position is responsible for managing existing Key Accounts within a designated geographic territory, fostering new business opportunities, and collaborating with various departments to provide optimal solutions for our customers.

**Primary Tasks:**

1. Collaborate with customers, sustaining account managers, customer service, production, and operational teams to deliver high-quality products and effective solutions.

2. Conduct price negotiations based on manufacturing costs and market pricing for products.

3. Engage with customers to offer solutions for tooling, part optimization, and assist with resin selection.

4. Review prints and models with customers to identify enhancements for successful program execution.

5. Quote tooling and engineering runs as required.

6. Undertake customer visits and engage in sales travel as necessary.

7. Facilitate kick-off meetings, communicating project scopes in a collaborative team atmosphere.

8. Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Sales.

**Education/Experience Requirements:**

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.

- Some experience with 2D/3D Prints/Models preferred.

- Minimum 5-7 years of successful sales experience, preferably selling technical solutions to OEM customers in the injection molding industry.

- Knowledge of mold construction and development beneficial.

- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and objectives.

- Ability to work cross-functionally with inside sales and operations.

- Excellent planning skills with superior teamwork abilities.

- Willingness to travel as needed.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

**Physical Requirements:**

This role involves light physical requirements, including frequent sitting, standing, walking, speaking, listening, and lifting light objects under 25 pounds. Occasional crouching or kneeling may be required.

**Work Environment:**

The work environment involves inside conditions, with potential hazards such as proximity to moving mechanical parts and electrical currents associated with machinery operation.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
