The Retail Store Manager I is responsible for managing all store operations including a team of sales and sales support employees with the focus of driving sales of Cox Services while keeping a laser focus on efficient operationsto ensure maximum profitability.

Proactively monitors store revenues, store operational targets, customersatisfaction, inventory and shrink . Responsiblefor assessing local competitors, their assortments, and pricingtrends to ensure their store remains consumer relevant andcompetitively positioned.

What You'll Do

  • Hires, trains, develops and handles performancemanagement with store staff
  • Sets performancegoals and objectives for the team as well as individualemployees
  • Facilitates weekly sales meetingsto ensure sales associates are aligned to corporate initiatives,including customer and product strategies
  • Manages against individual store revenue, operational, and customersatisfaction targets
  • Monitors Shrink at Storelevel, conducts exception analysis and takes action
  • Assesses local competitive assortment and pricing trendsand escalates competitive discrepancies to leadership
  • Creates store labor plans based on corporate guidelines,seasonality, and anticipated customer demand
  • Oversees daily cash handling and accounts payable
  • Partners with Corporate Cox to identify traffic trendsto ensure consistency with inventory requirements
  • Oversees store and sales floor inventory to ensurealignment with corporate store design strategy
  • Performs other duties as required.

Who You Are

Minimum

HighSchool Diploma / GED and 5 years' experience in a related field. Theright candidate could also have a different combination, such as abachelor's degree in a related discipline and 3 years' experiencein a related field;

a master's degree and 1 year of experience; ora Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience

Preferred

  • BA / BS inbusiness or related field
  • Retail managementwith supervisory experience highly preferred
  • Experience selling Wireless / Mobile products stronglypreferred
  • Willingness to work a flexible workschedule which may include evenings, weekends, andholidays
  • Willingness to travel
  • Valid Driver's License with driving record that meetsCox standards

USD 56,000.00 - 84,000.00 peryear

Compensation :

Compensationincludes a base salary of $56,000.00 - $84,000.00. The salary ratemay vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as theultimate location of the position and the selected candidate'sexperience.

In addition to the salary range identified herein, thisrole is also eligible for an annual incentive / commission target of$15,312.00.

Benefits :

TheCompany offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as muchvacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, thecompany's needs, and its obligations;

seven paid holidaysthroughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellnessannually for their own wellness or that of family members.

Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in theform of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave,volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19vaccination leave.
