Job Summary
The Business Office Specialist provides administrative, clerical and organization services in an office setting. The Business Office Specialist is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the office.
Some of these duties include; assisting Coders with charge tickets, assist with assigning account numbers and insurance information to patients, verifies that clinic insurance information matches hospital billing information to ensure proper records and assists with various other duties as assigned.
The Business Office Specialist may also performs basic administrative duties related to patient care such as filing, copying, and faxing documents, as well as performing data entry.
