Job Summary
The Childcare Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment to promote the positive development of children.
The Childcare Supervisor assists in the day to day operation of the Learning Center. Is responsible for training and overseeing staff, planning programs and curriculum.
Is responsible for working with parents to collect payments and establishes positive and productive relationships with families to provide a high quality service to customers.
Greets and monitors visitors while insuring the safety of children, monitors the children’s movements from classroom to classroom and assure that the Learning Center maintains compliance with state and federal regulations outlined by the licensing agency and all Accreditation standards.
Additional duties include assisting with serving and cleanup of dinner, assisting with laundry, and other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education
Required : At least 9 child related college hours or Child Development Associates (CDA)
Experience
Required : 1-2 Years Related Experience
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to make quick or last minute decisions
- Be able to prioritize existing tasks
- Ability to perform in highly stressful situations
- Effective leadership abilities
- Excellent time management, interpersonal, communication, organization, prioritizing, decision-making and planning skills.
- Health Screening required.
- Successful annual clearance from Family Care Safety Registry.
- An annual TB test required.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Initial T-Dap immunization
