The Analytics Engineer I will accomplish the following: build out reports and visualizations using data marts; analyze, debug, and validate queries; collaborate with team members to accomplish overall team goals; engage with Business Stakeholders to gather requirements and determine best solutions for reporting needs. They should be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. They must be highly independent and motivated with the ability to work in a team environment. Essential Functions: Build reports using tools such as Tableau and PBIRS for analytical purposes Contribute to the design of queries to create data sources according to business needs Develop knowledge and skillset needed to implement data integration & transformation tools Provide Support and Training to Business Stakeholders on Reporting Tools & Visualizations Operate with an investigative mindset to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets Troubleshoot and pinpoint root causes for discrepancies to work towards data accuracy and consistency Participate in & drive meetings and communications with all Departments of Coyote cross functionally Collaborate with team members to work towards optimal solutions for business requests Capable of being point on the analysis and validation of report outputs Capacity to develop an understanding of the Coyote business & Logistics/Transportation Industry knowledge Exercises strong work ethic, accountability, initiative, and a strategic mindset Required Experience: Exposure to Data Modeling and designing data sources for reporting needs Ability to write SQL statements and exposure to Analytics Engineering visualization reporting tools Proven analytical & problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational & time management skills with strong attention to detail Experience using Cloud Offerings (Azure, AWS, GCP) Experience using Relational Databases (SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL) Experience using tools such as Tableau, SSIS, Python, SSRS, Power BI, etc. Why Coyote?
