The Human Resources Generalist will perform daily functions of the HR department within the assigned business unit.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assists HR team members with recruitment coordination along with local managers including interview scheduling and ATS management.
- Conducts or background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Performs employment verifications.
- Assists HR team with new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Performs daily HR admin tasks including but not limited to employee file documentation, training and development, benefits support, leave coordination, and time & attendance support.
- Works with managers and supervisors as a liaison between operations and HR.
- Appropriately communicates HR related updates and critical information to all employees.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR team members.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Assist with performance evaluation management.
- Assists with conducting disciplinary employee investigations.
- Assists with safety training compliance and tracking.
- Manages recruiting, referral and sign-on bonus programs.
- Support Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Employee Engagement initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned by a manager.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or similar experience.
- Required 3 to 5 years’ experience in a HR role.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus.
