CPS, a leader in providing comprehensive healthcare services in the Massachusetts County Correctional system is seeking a Full-Time Director of Nursing for an ambulatory care facility at the Nashua Street Jail. Correctional experience preferred. Supervisory experience required.
Maintain strong leadership and communication between correctional and nursing staff, contract providers, outside agencies, and the Health Service Administrator [H.S.A.] Ensure appropriate staff coverage for the health services unit at all times.
Supervise and evaluate work performance of nursing staff and counsel employees found in violation of established policies/procedures and practices.
Monitor compliance with national and state standards, establish policies, procedures, and programs.
Alternating coverage of on-call required.
RN license required
CPR certified required
