Associate Attorney--Family Law

We are seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in negotiating and litigating cases, as well as a strong desire to learn and grow in the legal field.

Duties:
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel
- Represent clients in court proceeding and has experience with complicated family law issues, including division of property/high asset cases, high conflict custody, and calculating support
- Communicate with clients and provide legal advice
- Attend depositions, hearings, and trials
- Manage their own case files, maintain accurate records, and has the ability to do so with autonomy

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in California
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law litigation or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; minimum billable requirement of 1300hrs/year
