Director of Brand Communications
Position Summary
The Director of Brand Communications works with our clients and internal team to develop marketing initiatives, across multiple platforms and formats (including events) to drive sales, engagement, retention, leads, and positive audience behavior. The position collaborates across creative, strategy, and technology to help define the brand story, develop messages, and define how the story is told, distributed, and measured.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of communication plans that leverage content to engage audiences
- Develop audience insights to inform campaign structure
- Advise on the integration of content activities within traditional marketing campaigns
- Create models for campaign planning.
- Develop standards and best practices (both human and technological) for content creation, distribution, and content repurposing.
- Leverage market data to develop content themes/topics and execute a plan to develop the assets that support a point of view
- Work collaboratively as a trusted, strategic brand partner driving program success, end-to-end, from ideation to post-analysis
- Share the latest marketing trends and advancements to define / set best practices – and – competitive intelligence to inform strategies to gain competitive edge.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams on all creative to ensure a consistency across channels
Requirements
Experience
- 5-10 years in multichannel communication planning and brand strategy
- Experience with developing compelling messages for different target demographics.
- Ability to lead and inspire large teams of creative personnel and content creators to achieve stated goals.
- In-depth knowledge / experience using various marketing tactics, platforms & tools.
- Experience building executive relationships and driving/ influencing change while motivating people at all levels across a variety of responsibilities.
- Experience working with and building consensus across cross-departmental teams and cultures.
