As part of the team here, you'll ensure every product we sell online or in-stores is delivered on time and with quality, ensuring our customers are amazed and delighted with their selection. The Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day distribution center activities.
What you'll do:
- Supervise production processes and workflows
- Provide direction and leads distribution center associates
- Delegate work accordingly
- Ensure production standards and deadlines are met
- Assist with the interview and selection process for new associates
- Responsible for teaching and training new associates
- Conduct performance evaluations and reviews
- Implement corrective actions as necessary
- Work with management to improve distribution center performance
- Troubleshoot issues within the distribution center
- Perform safety observations in conjunction with job observations to coach and counsel associates on proper safety procedures
- Play an active role in the participation of all safety programs and acts as a role model for all associates
- Serve a backup for other floor supervisors as necessary
- Participate in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position
What you'll bring:
- A minimum of 3 years of Distribution Center experience
- Equipment certification as needed
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management System
- Computer skills, proficiency with Google applications, MS Word & Excel
- Leadership and team management skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain a consistent teamwork mentality
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus
