Carpenter:
Crawford Construction Corp. is a General Construction Firm who specializes in Insurance Hazard Claims, Tenant Occupied Maintenance, Turn Units and Repairs/Remodeling of vacant bank owned properties.
Crawford Construction Corp is currently seeking Carpenters & Apprentices to join our team safely and successfully install flooring, drywall finishes, cabinetry, trim, doors, windows, etc. You will work from insurance scopes, work orders, blueprints, specifications, drawings and instructions to design, build, remodel, retrofit, maintain and repair various types of facilities and structures; inspect completed work for conformance with specifications, requirements and compliance with applicable building and safety codes and regulations; inspect related work by contractors; estimate cost, time and materials for projects; participate in the maintenance and operation of the Construction Industry.
Carpenters Duties & Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot malfunctions, diagnose, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems according to company standards and public safety codes.
- Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repaired systems; provide scope and cost estimates.
- Installation of flooring (hardwood, vinyl, laminate & tile work), cabinetry, drywall finishes, paint finishes, trim, windows, doors, framing, etc.
- Perform preventive maintenance on residential properties.
- Comply with all applicable public safety codes, standards, policies, and procedures, while maintaining a clean work area.
Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience required executing both repair and installation in the construction industry.
- Effective communication with team and clients; organizational and time management skills are a must!
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds minimum.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, tools, ladders, and equipment to complete all jobs.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and climb (stairs, ladders, etc.).
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills for fixing maintenance issues.
- Ability to travel out of town is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of code preferred.

Pay: $16.50 - $30.00 per hour
