Description
Calling all digital merchandisers who are passionate about eCommerce and retail brands! Our local retail client is looking for a digital merchandiser to join their team.
This is a hybrid onsite/offsite role that will require you to come onsite 1-4 days per month. It is preferred you live within driving distance of West Chester, Ohio.
The Digital Merchandiser will be responsible for:
Collaborate with other team members to create and implement digital strategies that enrich the online experience for consumers
Driving the digital shopping experience with convenient, reliable and gratifying purchase processes
Communicating and executing best-in-class visual merchandising strategies within the website
The integration and merchandising of key product areas throughout website
Performing in-depth analysis of the business, including, online metrics (conversion rates, visits, views, and orders) to look for sales opportunities, problems, and trends along with next steps to resolve problems or enhance the experience
Managing online product merchandising including marketing, promotional statements, seasonal experiences, and ensuring promotional online execution accuracy (pricing, ads, and deals) to increase customer conversion and improve customer experience
Implementing merchandising to support A/B testing, Geo-Targeting offers, special web-only offers, tracking data, reporting results, and making recommendations for web enhancements to improve the online customer experience
Establishing collaborative relationships and weekly business review meetings with the Merchants and Planners
Staying on top of market trends, consumer trends, competition, customer service issues, and eCommerce technology
Investigating and fixing failed searches. Ensure search rules are created for common use cases. Ex. Misspellings, synonyms, etc.
Partnering with creative team to determine additional photography needs for website & manage placement of assets with the Digital Imaging Team
Attending key product merchant/development meetings
The Digital Merchandiser must have:
2 years of experience in digital merchandising or eCommerce
Prior experience in digital merchandising, online storytelling, and web merchandising analysis
Superior computer skills including business applications such as MS Windows, MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Google Sheets, and content management systems.
Strong understanding of the eCommerce retail space
Experience creating site merchandising strategies to drive conversions
Experience bringing products to life online
Experience with A/B testing, Geo targeting offers, web only offers, tracking data, reporting results, making recommendations for web enhancements, etc.
