Direct Support Professional for Young Man with Autism

Job Overview:
We are seeking 2-3 part-time compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will assist a young man with autism who just finished post-secondary and is starting a new, exciting chapter in his life!

Duties may include:
- Assist client in the home and in the community.
- Transport around the community (mileage is reimbursable)
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals
- Engage in activities of interest and encourage participation in exploring new interests
-Assist with meal prep and healthy choices as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Be proactive, patient, and flexible
- Genuinely curious about the people you support

Hours available:
Mondays: 9am-12:30pm
Tuesdays: 12:30pm-5pm
Wednesdays: 9am-2pm, **5pm-8:30pm (for Twilight Concert in Capitola)
Thursdays: 12:30pm-5pm
Fridays 5:30-8pm

Expected hours: 8 – 15 per week
