What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier - 1st Shift position at Creative Dining Services?
Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm No Weekends!
Creative Dining Services is looking for a full time first shift Cashier at the LG Energy Dining Center in Holland, MI. The Cashier itemizes guest purchases and processes transactions of cash, check, credit or debit in payment. The cashier greets guests as they enter or exit the dining area.
Core Responsibilities
- Follows all cash handling procedures.
- Counts money.
- Counts back change correctly.
- Runs a register, other devices and credit card machine accurately.
- Communicates with our guests in a friendly manner.
- Assists with other needs of guests.
- Assists in cleaning of dining operation as needed.
- Assists in stocking as needed.
- Performs other duties as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Basic reading and math skills
- Must be able to communicate and understand primary language(s) use by guests who typically visit the work location
- Knowledge and ability to operate cash register and various payment forms
