Creative Dining Services is looking for a Kitchen Supervisor to join our dining services team at the Northwest Iowa Community College. As the Production Supervisor, you would be responsible for production of high quality food while maintaining a kitchen that functions efficiently, ensuring that all food prepared is savory, appealing and food safe.
Core Responsibilities:
- Cooking
- Working with the Food Service Director to: supervise kitchen staff, plan menus, schedules and plan catering, etc
- Record-keeping (temperature logs, production sheets, orders)
- Effective communication with all levels of food service staff and guests
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two-year minimum of experience in food service and/or supervisory duties
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Effective communication skills
- Positive, service-oriented attitude
