Production Coordinator
The production coordinator will assist the production department in producing all jobs. This is to include but is not limited to the organization of schedules, timely ordering of materials, permit acquisition, organization of orders, services for customers and effective communication with clients, sub-contractors, vendors and team members.
Residential construction knowledge is critical for this position.
The duties and skills required for this job include:
- Assisting in the planning and development of daily, weekly and monthly work schedules for all carpenters and lead carpenters.
- File for all necessary municipal permits to build all projects. Complete all necessary paperwork and prepare needed documentation for application process and pay permit fees.
- Working with the production team to expedite jobs, insure quality, insure material availability and help foster a strong team environment.
- Communicating verbally and electronically with customers daily, weekly and monthly as the individual projects require.
- Understanding the scope of a project from the sales team, insure it can be built as per the estimated budget.
- Assist in preparing projects to be built by craftsman: ordering materials, scheduling sub-contractors, ensuring order accuracy, on-time delivery of materials and those budgets are kept.
- Debug residential blue prints and develop a purchase list of items needed.
- High organizational skills and computer competency is a must in this position.
- Ability to learn and understand all computer software for business applications you are trained on.
- Coordinating with on-site Job foreman/craftsman to ensure clarity and quality is achieved.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- residential remodeling: 5 years

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
