Job Posting for Billing specialist at Creative Financial Staffing

CFS has partnered with a leading Michigan law firm that's looking to hire a Billing Specialist. This is a great opportunity to work for a well know Grand Rapids firm and to be a part of a collaborative team!

The Billing Specialist will be primarily responsible for processing client invoices, editing time entries on prebills, and responding to billing inquiries from attorneys and legal assistants.

  • Associates degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 to 5 years in a professional services environment, including previous billing experience is preferred
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle challenges in a professional manner
  • Knowledge of legal services billing software strongly preferred
  • Previous experience with eBilling strongly preferred
