Human Resources Specialist

About the Company :

Our client is a leading manufacturing organization looking to add a Human Resources Specialist to their Human Resources team.

Our client is a $2B manufacturing organization in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing organization.

The incumbent will support the North America team regarding all employee and benefits related questions and changes.

Key Responsibilities of the Human Resources Specialist Role :

  • Processing transactions in Workday
  • Provide documentation for employee promotions and transfers
  • Coordinating with a 3rd party for leave of absence cases
  • Processing promotions, title changes, and terminations
  • Assisting payroll department

Required Skills of the Human Resources Specialist :

  • Knowledge of Payroll
  • General HR knowledge
  • Leave of Absence Knowledge is critical
  • Experience with an HRIS system

Additional Experience Preferred for the Human Resources Specialist :

  • Workday experience
  • ADP Experience
