Summary: Seeking an experienced Interim CFO to provide financial leadership and strategic guidance for our non-profit client in Elmsford, NY. The Interim CFO will ensure financial stability, compliance, and optimal resource utilization during this transitional period.

Responsibilities of the Interim CFO:

  • Oversee all financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for stakeholders and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with the executive team on financial strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
  • Manage grants and funding sources; coordinate financial audits and risk management.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Provide financial support for donor relations and fundraising efforts.
  • Evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes for efficiency.

What we are looking for in an Interim CFO:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Proven non-profit CFO or senior financial leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of non-profit accounting principles and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and commit to the interim role.
