What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Manager position at Creative Food Group Concepts?
Creative Food Group is the leading hospitality team behind the award-winning restaurants by Nicholas Stefanelli. Established in 2014 by Chef Nicholas Stefanelli & Paul Jeon, Creative Food Group takes our guests through culinary experiences from the fine dining critically acclaimed Masseria to culinary collective Officina, and soon to the new luxury hotel The Morrow in Washington's vibrant Union Market neighborhood, a part of the DC Curio Collection by Hilton.
In terms of both cuisine and service, our standards are high – and so are those of our guests.
The ideal candidate must possess strong knowledge of French cuisine and fundamental culinary techniques. As Chef de Cuisine you will oversee all kitchen operations. This leadership role requires an ability to balance exceptional culinary execution alongside the ability to lead a team and manage food costs. You will be working closely with the sous chef and pastry chef as well as other management positions. The ability to multi-task and ensure consistency in a fast-paced environment is a must.

Required Qualifications
*Fluent in speaking, writing and reading English
*At least 2 years of management experience
Preferred Qualifications
*At least 3 years of management experience in a restaurant environment
*Desire to teach and train incoming employees
*Experience with utilizing different software like Google Suites, POS systems, reservations, scheduling, payroll, etc.
*Well organized and efficient communication skills
*Extensive knowledge of coffee, tea, and other beverages

*Ability to obtain food handlers certification (specifics will be provided)
Key Responsibilities
*Ensure all employees are within operating standards
*Adhere and enforce employee compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
*Hire, train, and supervise employees *
*Report on inventory, financial, and personnel updates/performance
*Meet and address customer needs, requests, and complaints
*Make weekly schedules for employees and update any changes
*Communicate regularly with GM and upper management/support on operations, personnel, etc.
*Keep all housekeeping items in order
*Look and review new applications on hiring platforms
