What are the responsibilities and job description for the Training Coordinator position at Credit Union Resources?
Under general supervision but following established policies and procedures is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and implementing the Credit Union’s operational training programs and coordinating other training and education programs for the staff. This may include people, product, process, and technology skills/knowledge. The Trainer is also responsible for the coordination of documentation and tracking of employee training. The Trainer ensures all regulatory training requirements are met.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. In conjunction with the Manager of Talent Acquisition and Development and other management staff assess the training needs of the organization through the analysis of organization results, position requirements, operational problems, system enhancements, and future growth plans. Confers with managers to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.
2. Designs, develops, implements, delivers/facilitates, and evaluates training for all staff. Provides onboarding support and training to orient new employees to the credit union. Provides training in all aspects of their position to include soft and technical skills, systems, product knowledge, management/ human resources (i.e., interviewing, coaching, legal updates) and security training. Ensures that staff has the resources available to perform duties.
3. Works with the subject matter experts on developing training when needed.
4. Schedules and coordinate training sessions, prepares materials and conduct the sessions as appropriate. Selects and develops teaching and/or facilitation outlines, leader’s guides, tools, and classes for use in the training programs and future use.
5. Develops evaluations, tests, and seeks feedback to measure and enhance the effectiveness and quality of training.
6. In conjunction with outside vendors, plans and schedules non-operational skills training (i.e., communication, conflict resolution, DEI, sexual harassment, and sales and service) as it relates to their position. Ensure that
