Senior Manager, Credit Risk

Position SummaryIn the role of Senior Manager, Digital Acquisition Risk, the position will primarily be responsible for driving the Bank’s incremental growth through Direct Mail Acquisition strategies. This position will focus on evaluating, analyzing, and reporting the impact and performance of digital and direct mail acquisition strategies, as well as conducting analysis to evaluate the risk of new and existing programs.Essential Job Functions:Evaluate, analyze, and report the impact and performance of direct mail acquisition strategiesLead analysis to evaluate the risk of new and existing programsAssess all application underwriting rules and strategies to align for business standards and strategic goalsDrive incremental growth through the development of new strategies or the optimization of existing strategies in the direct mail acquisitions spacePresent findings to upper management and make recommendations for improvementsCollaborate and partner across the business (Risk, Marketing, Partnerships) to drive highly visible and impactful projects for the BankResponsible for managing and mentoring 1-2 analysts in the teamPosition Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Math, or related field•5 years of analytical experience in banking, finance, insurance, or gaming, 2 years of managerial experience3 years of advanced use of at least one of the following: Microsoft Access, SQL Server, Oracle, or SASIntellectual horsepower with problem solving and analytical skillsMust be proficient in data mining and financial modeling proceduresSelf-starter, who can work independently with a high degree of organization on several projects at one timeSufficient self-confidence and ability to propose new ideas/solutionsAbility to quickly assimilate and analyze large amounts of informationStrong knowledge of Microsoft tool suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)Knowledge of financial analysis and profitability driversPreferred:Advanced degreeConsumer credit card industry experienceExperience in direct mail markets and on-line acquisitions
