What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collateral Specialist position at Crescent Bank?
Crescent Bank is looking for a Collateral Specialist who will be responsible for the title tracking and maintenance on auto loans. This includes releasing titles, liens, and loan documents to customers, dealers, and insurance companies within regulatory guidelines, contacting various parties in order to obtain completed titles, and performing maintenance such as state transfers, name changes, title corrections and title issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Communicates with Lending, Dealers and DMV personnel regarding the status of outstanding titles for newly funded loans.
Releases liens on titles on paid in full accounts and settled insurance loss accounts, routing titles to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
Processes title corrections, state transfers, add or remove borrowers, name changes and add 2nd lien holders.
Process paid in full letters within state and regulatory guidelines.
Accurately mail documents to party that paid off loan.
Assists dealers and customers with lost titles.
Analyzes title issues and get resolutions.
Analyzes the situation and know when to escalate to management review.
Works effectively as part of a team atmosphere to perform duties and achieve daily operational goals
Meets productivity standards in accordance with Crescent Bank’s confidentiality policies and organizational values
Performs additional duties as needed within the department
Position Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent, or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
